Whats new at the BarrelHouse
Fall 2007
Hello all! We hope that everyone survived this especially brutal Cincinnati summer. Man, has it been hot in the brew house! With fall just around the corner, we thought we’d drop in and let you know what we’ve been up to and what’s coming up concerning all things BarrelHouse.
Our latest seasonal release, Oktoberfest Lager, has just been released and should be making an appearance on retailers’ shelves soon. This was the inaugural bottling of our marzen style lager that features a new and improved recipe. Our brewers elevated the alcohol content to 6.2% and reworked the hopping rates to achieve a delectable balance. The label features another illustration from Jim Effler, our favorite local artist. We hope that you enjoy drinking this beer as much as we enjoyed making it!
Cincinnati Oktoberfest will be underway September 22-23. Our beer trailer will be stocked and ready to roll (location TBA) for the entire weekend. Stop by and say hi! For more information, please visit Oktoberfest-Zinzinnati.
Speaking of Oktoberfest celebrations, our personal favorite will be taking place the weekend of October 5-7. Donauschwauben Oktoberfest is held on the grounds of the Donauschwaben club, located off the Colerain Avenue exit of I-275. For more information, please visit donauschwaben .
Hopefully, everyone will be able to get out and enjoy the upcoming weather with a fresh local beer. Meanwhile, our brewers will be mashing away with our focus beginning to lean towards our next seasonal release…Stay tuned!
Thank you once again for checking in with us. Questions? Feel free to give us a shout down at the brewery (513) 421-BEER (2337). Thank you for supporting Cincinnati craft beer!
Cheers,
The BarrelHouse Crew
